These are going to be formed in six figure units. It's a convenient size for very simple rules, a roll on a D6 of greater than the number of figures remaining in a unit sees them rout with modifiers for troop quality and circumstances. It's very early days for the rules, I still haven't even decided whether to go with hex based movement or not. The intention is for something I can play with my seven year old Grandson.
Anyway, the new figure is the Mahdist Cavalryman.
I should have a company of Egyptian infantry finished tomorrow, the aim being to have a few units completed so I can experiment with rules ideas.
